Delivery of more than 100,000 pounds of fortified rice, appliances and toys

September 2009 – Salvadoran Committee El Piche with the support of the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), an institution affiliated with the Organization of American States (OAS) based in Washington, D.C. and the Salvadoran company LA CURACAO, conducts a humanitarian mission to El Salvador on September 1 and 2, to deliver a cargo of more than 100,000 pounds of fortified rice, different appliances and toys for Salvadoran communities with a value exceeding $300,000 dollars.
